Rental Terms & Conditions

Minimum Stay Requirement

The home is available in accordance with Honolulu County Ordinance 22-7. Only one rental agreement may be signed per 30-day period, even if the guest departs early.

Rates & Payments

Payment due at signing via credit card, bank transfer, or Venmo.

Cancellation Policy

50% refund if canceled 30 days or more before arrival. No refund for cancellations within 30 days of arrival, unless the stay is rebooked. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for extended stays.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in: 3 PM HST
Check-out: 10 AM HST
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible by request.

House Rules

Respect the Neighborhood

Hauʻula is a quiet, residential community. Please be respectful of our neighbors—no parties or large gatherings, and observe local quiet hours (9 PM – 8 AM).

Smoking, Pets & Visitors

No smoking or vaping inside the home. Pets are allowed with prior approval and a pet deposit. Only registered guests may stay overnight.

Maintenance & Care

Please notify us of any issues immediately. Do not move large furniture or remove items from the property. Keep doors closed to protect from humidity and pests.

Compliance Statement

Hauʻula Hideaway is located in a residential zone on Oʻahu’s North Shore. We follow all City & County of Honolulu regulations for long-term rentals (Ordinance 22-7) and operate with respect for our local community and neighbors.
